What is Diwali?The name Diwali is a contraction of Deepavali this is as well as means The Festival of Lights or Row of Lamps. This is believed that the time of transition from darkness to igniter-the light that empowers them to commit themselves to good deeds which brings them closer to divinity.Why is the festival celebrated?This festival is to show how good a triumph over nuisance and it marks the end of harvest season in most of India. This is also a time for new endeavors, and many throng clean their homes and stretch their windows and doors cause it gives them luck and good fortune during Diwali.
